How to remember UArts in your will
A bequest is an easy yet far-reaching way to support UArts and its mission. You need not be wealthy to leave a lasting impact.

We have provided several sample bequest wordings here that you and your attorney may find helpful. Please consult with your attorney for advice regarding your particular circumstances. UArts’ Development staff would be happy to assist you and your advisors in planning a bequest provision.

Unrestricted Bequest
I give and bequeath __________ (dollar amount, percentage amount or description of asset) to the University of the Arts, 320 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102, for the general purposes of the University.

Restricted Bequest
I give and bequeath ___________ (dollar amount, percentage amount or description of asset) to the University of the Arts, 320 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102, to be used for __________ (specify purpose here).

Endowment Fund Bequest
for bequests of $25,000 or more
I give and bequeath ___________ (dollar amount, percentage amount or description of asset) to the University of the Arts, 320 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102. This gift shall be held as a permanent endowment to be known as the ________ Fund, the income only from which will support ___________ (specify purpose here).
