Where I Am Right Now: Carol Moore Retrospective

President's Office

"Where I Am Right Now" comprises selected works from Associate Professor Carol Moore completed since 1982 to the present – whether locating herself through writing and drawing in her studio or in whatever emotional or physical landscape she inhabits.

Moore, who is the founding director of the MFA in Studio Art program at the University of the Arts, came to the University in 1990 as assistant dean and since 1998 has taught Graduate Drawing and Seminars.

Artist Statement:
"My work begins and ends with drawing – drawing as thought made visible...tangible. My work explores and expands the concept of one's personal narrative – this ultimately becomes a running narrative of where and with whom I exist in particular pieces of time or circumstance."

Opening Reception: August 8, 3 – 5 p.m.
Fall Reception: September 7, 3 – 5 p.m.
