Exhibit: Georgia Deal & Graham Watson

Printmaking Gallery

The MFA Book Arts/Printmaking department welcomes visiting artists Georgia Deal and Graham Watson MFA '07 (Book Arts/Printmaking).

Georgia Deal is a printmaker, book artist and papermaker whose work is included in numerous national and international collections. Her work "explores the visual recollections and impressions of memory: attempting to break down the narrative to a more refined and skeletal state, these images are not so much stories as junctures." Deal is the head of the Printmaking department and a professor at Corcoran College of Art and Design.

Graham Watson is a book artist and photographer who draws inspiration from the natural sciences, music, and design. He received his MFA from the University of the Arts Book Arts/Printmaking program.
