Under Construction
by Charles Mee
Directed by Brad Ogden '13 (Directing, Playwriting & Production)
"Under Construction" is an exploration of America and Americana through the lenses of Norman Rockwell and contemporary installation artist Jason Rhoades. It's the juxtaposition of a romanticized and glorified America with a raw and complicated one. Of an America that doesn't get enough criticism and an America that doesn't get enough credit. It asks what each generation considers to be art, where it places it values, and what we’ve gained - but also lost - in becoming the America we are today. Are we better or worse than we once were? Is America a heap full of and defined by the things we've left behind? Is the best yet to come? Is it now, or has it passed? This is the then and now, the 50s and the present, where we grew up and where we live today. This a piece that is, like America, permanently under construction.

Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them
By A. Rey Pamatmat
Directed by Elaina DiMonaco '13 (Directing, Playwriting & Production)
Three kids – Kenny, his sister Edith and their friend Benji – are all but abandoned on a farm in remotest Middle America. With little adult supervision, they feed and care for each other, making up the rules as they go. But when Kenny and Benji's relationship becomes more than friendship, and Edith shoots something she really shouldn't shoot, the formerly indifferent outside world comes barging in whether they want it to or not.
