The University of the Arts presents "Proyecto Callejero: I & II," two new monumental sculptures by artist Miguel Antonio Horn as part of the Hamilton Hall Public Art Initiative. The "Street Project" exhibit is curated by UArts Sculpture Shop Supervisor Lewis Colburn.
Horn's two huge figures – made from layers of cardboard, burlap and drywall – will slowly deteriorate over the course of the exhibit. Despite their size, the figures remain vulnerable to their environment, with their forms muted as if wrapped in layers and heaps of clothing.
