Canon Explorers of Light Photographer John Paul Caponigro to Speak on Campus
October 13 ‘Illuminating Creativity’ lecture is free and open to the public

Internationally renowned photographer John Paul Caponigro will be on the University of the Arts campus for a special photography lecture titled "Illuminating Creativity" on Wednesday, October 13, 1 – 2:30 p.m. in Hamilton Hall's CBS Auditorium (320 S. Broad Street). This event is sponsored by Canon and is free and open to the public.
Caponigro, who is a member of Canon's elite Explorers of Light group, will speak about his own work, exploring one's own creative vision, advanced digital imaging techniques, and embracing and building community in the arts.
A contributing editor for Digital Photo Pro and AfterCapture, and a columnist for Photoshop User, Luminous-Landscape.com, Apple.com and the Huffington Post, Caponigro is also the author of Adobe Photoshop Master Class and the DVD series "R/Evolution."
Caponigro combines his background in painting with traditional and alternative photographic processes using the digital platform. He is a highly sought after lecturer, teaching workshops around the globe, and is respected internationally as one of the most prominent artists working with digital media processes.
Exhibited around the world, his work resides in many private and public collections including Princeton University, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts and the Estée Lauder collection.
The Photoshop Hall of Famer is also an Epson Stylus Pro and a member of the X-Rite Coloratti, a group of world-renowned photographers and color consultants. Caponigro's client list includes Adobe, Apple and Kodak.
