"A little known musician…produce(s) some of the most luxuriant, sumptuously phrased jazz vocals you could hope to hear," raves The Chicago Tribune about Laurin Talese BM '04 (Voice).

Talese has been performing around Philadelphia and has sung backup for Jaguar Wright and Vivian Green. She's planning to release a recording of original compositions and jazz standards next year, and is being heralded as the next big thing on the music scene.

She's a passionate promoter of jazz, telling the Tribune, "I want to bring people my age – and maybe younger – to jazz, so they can see it's really hot."
