Kim Paynter BS ’10 (Communication) is videographer for theartblog.org's new series, “Art Safaris,” promoting Philly’s booming art scene.

The project is the brainchild of veteran writers, bloggers and art enthusiasts Libby Rosof and Roberta Fallon, who received a Knight Arts Foundation Challenge grant to create and promote a First Friday caravan that takes collectors and art enthusiasts to see the work of emerging artists in some of Philadelphia’s out-of-the-way locations.

Paynter also produces video (including this piece on Philly’s iconic Tastykakes) and photography for Newsworks, the website for Philadelphia’s award-winning NPR affiliate, WHYY.
