Young dancers swarmed Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts in March as more than 1,300 students from around the country gathered for the 2012 National High School Dance Festival hosted by the School of Dance at the University of the Arts.

The bi-annual event allows young dancers to preview undergraduate dance programs at dozens of universities. UArts presented master classes and workshops and hosted performances by professional dance companies, as well as group auditions for collegiate dance programs from around the country.

Seldon has performed with Ne-Yo, Usher and Mary J. Blige, and was a lead dancer with Beyonce in her videos and on her world tour from 2009 to 2011. The dancer and choreographer has also appeared on "So You Think You Can Dance," "Mad TV," and several televised award shows and music videos.
