Alumni Invited to Submit Work for Student-Curated Exhibition
Curated by Kaylyn Gray '13 (Multidisciplinary Fine Arts), the theme of the fall exhibit is 'The Face of UArts'
September 12, 2012
Alumni of all years, degrees and programs are invited to submit their work for the student-curated fall exhibition in the Alumni Gallery. The exhibit will be on display in the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations, which now includes gallery space to celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni.
The Alumni Gallery lets students, staff, faculty and fellow alumni who visit the office appreciate the work of UArts graduates. Curated by a University of the Arts student on a semi-annual basis around a theme of his or her choosing, our student curator for the fall exhibition is Kaylyn Gray '13 (Multidisciplinary Fine Arts) and the theme is "The Face of UArts."
"The Face of UArts" is accepting entries of interpretations of the self-portrait. Entries may include any 2D medium from collage, photography, printmaking, painting, fibers or mixed media. The work should portray how attending the University of the Arts has expanded the horizons of thought and technique, while showing the faces of the alumni that had previously roamed the halls and buildings of UArts.
Gray writes, "As the curator, I am eager to see how people have grown and progressed after their time at the University of the Arts."
Due to space limitations, we can only accept work that can be hung or mounted on a wall. If interested, please email images of your work to email@example.com by October 8.
