Lauren McCarty MFA '10 (Studio Art) teaching in China.

Lauren McCarty MFA '10 (Studio Art) was selected to work for Beneath the Tree International in Tianjin, China, as the company's academic director. McCarty began her position overseeing an art education staff of five in February 2013.

Brigid Wallace '14 (Photography) and Kaylyn Gray BFA '13 (Multidisciplinary Fine Arts) have been selected as art teaching interns in China. Gray arrived in China on June 19 and is assisting McCarty in Tianjin, developing art programming and lesson plans and conducting workshops and classes for elementary students.

Wallace leaves for China on July 1 and will be working for the school district in Weihai, where she will teach art and English to elementary and junior high students.
