Jonathan Twingley

Born and raised in Bismarck, ND, Jonathan Twingley earned a Bachelors degree (Art) from Minnesota State  University, Moorhead, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in  Illustration  from  the  School of Visual Arts in New York City. His work appears regularly in many national publications, including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic Monthly and The New Republic, among others.  In 2003, PRINT magazine featured his work in a showcase of twenty artists under the age of thirty. His work has also been recognized by the Society of Illustrators (New York and Los Angeles), American Illustration, Communication Arts magazine and the Society of Publication Designers.  In 2009, Scribner published his debut, illustrated novel, The Badlands Saloon. He lives and works in New York City.
