Kristen Neville Taylor investigates the production of actual art objects and their role in this age of cyberspace expansion. Current concerns of her practice include the contention between the natural and technological world, the historical use of materials in art and industry, and the pursuit of spirituality through material objects.
Taylor lives and works in Philadelphia. She graduated from Tyler School of Art in 2005 with a BFA in Glass/Ceramics and is presently employed there as an adjunct faculty member and studio technician in Glass. In 2007, she cofounded Little Berlin Gallery in Philadelphia, where she exhibited art and curated exhibitions until 2012. From 2007 to 2009, she taught 3D design and glass art at Salem Community College. She is currently a member of the artist collective Vox Populi.
