My art has been continually evolving towards a unique vision that is perceptive in it's revelation and universally connective. Forward thinking while academically trained, my influences are broad, running from the London School, the New York School in the forties and fifties and the Bay Area Figurative School. I would describe my work as evocatively abstract and figurative in its grounding. Anchored in personal experience and a philosophy of humanity's evolution, I work intuitively where each moment is charged with expressive potential. I have always enjoyed the rich fields of possibility that lie in the interface between ideas. For me, these are the most fertile grounds in which to create because in them resides the inherent tension of opposing forces and more importantly, the underlying unity of life.
