Peter Schroth received his BFA from Syracuse University in 1977 and his MFA from the University of Colorado in 1981. He has taught in a wide variety of institutions and programs including the University of South Florida, the School of Visual Arts in New York City and the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Schroth is also the recipient of numerous awards that include the Pollock Krasner Foundation Fellowship (2008, 1991), Elizabeth Foundation Artists Fellowship, Individual Artist Grant, NJ Arts Council, and residency fellowships from MacDowell Colony, Yaddo and the Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Ireland, among others.
Peter Schroth's artwork has been widely exhibited and is represented in public, private and corporate collections. He is currently represented by Sears Peyton Gallery in New York City.
