Sueyeun Juliette Lee is working on her dissertation in English from Temple University exploring the representation of space by Asian-American writers in poetry. A poet herself, her books include That Gorgeous Feeling (Coconut Press, 2008) and Underground National (Factory School, 2010). An essay on the craft of teaching poetry is forthcoming from the University of Iowa's anthology Poets on Teaching (2010). She edits Corollary Press, a chapbook series devoted to new work by writers of color.
Lee received her BA (cum laude) in Literature and a Master's in Teaching from the University of Virginia in 2000. She earned her MFA in Poetry along with a Certificate in Advanced Feminist Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2006. She is currently ABD from the Ph.D. program in English at Temple.
