Vince earned a BS degree in Industrial Design in 1981 from the University of the Arts. He has over 30 years of experience in the area of product design, engineering and manufacturing and is the president and owner of his own design consultancy, Juliana Design Group. Vince is a member of the Industrial Society of America and has served in the past as the editor and chair of its local Philadelphia chapter.
In addition to holding the current 2D techniques teaching position at UArts, he has been a guest lecturer at UArts, Wharton, and high school and elementary grade levels. Vince has a passion for the classic ID skills such as sketching and rendering along with a knowledge of 3D modeling and other digital design and visualization techniques.
He has worked on a variety of products for inventors to startups to Fortune 500 businesses, and has assembled and managed development teams to support the varying needs of his clients with innovative and cost saving design solutions. Design projects have ranged from healthcare equipment, consumer products and industrial technologies to environmental graphics, logo and packaging design. His work has been honored with various industry awards such as the Industrial Designer’s Society of America “IDEA” annual competition, the Canon publications MDEA, and numerous utility and design patents.
Vince lives in the Chester County area outside of the city of Philadelphia. He is married with three children.
