Accreditation
University of the Arts (UArts) has announced its closure on June 7, 2024.
As of June 1, 2024, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) www.msche.org has withdrawn the University's accreditation. A statement of the University’s accreditation status can be found on the MSCHE website.
University of the Arts (UArts) is a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission). MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission’s geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States.
