Although the perfect forms in Walsh’s large works appear to have been made mechanically, he painted every line and shape by hand through a painstaking layering process.

Dan Walsh BFA '83 is an internationally acclaimed Minimalist painter known for combining linear, geometric lines with irregularly drawn shapes.

His work has been exhibited in national and international institutions, including the 2014 Whitney Biennial in New York City, one of the world's most prestigious exhibitions of American contemporary artists.
